Washington State Hypnosis Registration 1) The first step is to call your local community college and find out if they have the tape series you can rent (for a nominal fee) to qualify you for state registration. These tapes are (for the state) the equivalent of 4 hrs. of taking an AIDS awareness class, and are a prerequisite for Washington State Hypnosis Registration. 2) Washington State Dept. of Health: Health Professions Quality Assurance Counselor Programs (Licensing) gives the phone number for finding out about state hypnosis registration. They will send you a packet with a pamphlet detailing the laws as well as paperwork for state hypnotherapy registration. 3) After renting and listening to the tapes and passing the test associated with those tapes, and receiving your state registration form/s from the state you will fill out their state registration form and send them a copy of the certificate you received from the college for passing the AIDs test and the filled out registration form/s and the current $95.00 fee.
