Configuring Ftp Clients

There's only three parameters that you need to put into any ftp client to configure it. One is the ftp address (it can be a name or an ipaddress), and the other two are your login name and password. That's it. Use the help function of the application and put in there the word configuring and most clients will show you the steps to putting in these 3 parameters into the client. Then all you have to do is push the button, within the client, to have it connect to your isp. You will, of course, have to point the local side of the client to the files wherever they may be on your computer. Use start / search / for files or folders to find them locally. If it's a web page you're searching for, you will generally want to search for the word index.html locally as this is the primary/default web page for most web sites.
