Terracycle "...manufactures affordable, potent, organic products that are not only made from waste, but are also packaged entirely in waste." Their plant food "...is made by feeding premium organic waste to millions of worms. The worm poop is then liquified into a powerful organic plant food and bottled directly in used soda bottles."

PLASCO's patented plasma conversion technology, called plasma gasification, is used to convert municipal solid waste, and other feedstocks, into clean energy; and will make landfills obsolete.

An electric arc is created between two electrodes, then a small amount of gas is passed through those electrodes. The gas then ionizes and is transformed into plasma; the 4th state of matter. The gas then reaches temperatures of 5 to 10 thousand degrees Celsius. That's 4 thousand degrees hotter than the outer layer of the sun. This plasma can obliterate and decompose anything.

In one year 131,000 tons of waste equals $22 million dollars worth of electricity. Their sophisticated control system produces more power per ton of waste than any other waste conversion process known.

Even the silicate slag (waste), that is the only thing left at the end of the process, can be sold on the open market to be used in road fill aggregate, building materials and even jewelry.
